Master-classes “Breaking stereotypes – a move towards culture of respect”

Number of master-classes on common title “Breaking stereotypes – a move towards culture of respect” has been held in addition to the Conference at 21 October 2010.
The following master-classes were given:
1) Gundega Tentere & Juris Dilba, Latvia Resource Center for Women “Marta”. Topic: “Breaking Gender Stereotypes: the Way for Cultural Respect (International Experience)”
2) Rima Sharifulina, Tatyana Vinogradova,  St.Petersburg NGO “Egida”. Topic: “Resistance for Gender-based Discrimination on Labour Market: Comparing Nordic Countries and NW Russia Experience”
3) Nikolay Yeremin, SPb male NGO of social assistance ”The Nordic way” & Sergey Zakharov, Family Assistance programmes at the Khesed Avraam Center. Topic: “Overcoming Masculinity Stereotypes or Pappa-School as new Form for Family Support”
Each master-class attended from 10 to 15 participants: university students, municipal workers, social services staff, researchers and women/men NGOs activists.
Master classes were supported by Nordic Council of Ministers project.
